Reading the Earth.
Understanding a
changing climate.

I’m Ehsan Soureh, a PhD student in Climatology at the University of Tabriz and a synoptic meteorology specialist at the Iran Meteorological Organization. My research spans climatology, remote sensing and geographic information systems, integrating atmospheric observations, satellite data and spatial analysis to understand climate variability, change and climate-related hazards.

01 / ABOUT ME

Climate, through the lens
of data and geography.

My academic interests centre on climate variability and environmental processes, using remote sensing, geographic information systems and data analysis. My publications cover urban heat islands, drought, precipitation extremes and bioclimatic conditions.

Alongside my doctoral studies, I work as a synoptic meteorological observer at the Piranshahr Meteorological Office, contributing to atmospheric observations, data quality checks and weather warning and crisis management activities.
